May 2, 2023 -- The Rotary Club of the Capital City was pleased to welcome Robin E. Hudson, Associate Justice Emeritus of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Justice Hudson, who retired in December after a long career of service on the North Carolina Appellate and Supreme Courts, spoke on her journey to judgeship, and on the evolution of our state's judiciary elections from being nonpartisan to becoming partisan, heavily funded, and heavily promoted contests.
