March 19, 2024 -- The Rotary Club of the Capital City was pleased to welcome Saxon Phipps, who is CEO of Year 13. Year 13 is an Australian company focused on improving the wellbeing of youth by fixing the school-to-work transition. Saxon has come to Raleigh to establish a base for introducing Youth 13 to school districts across the state of North Carolina, and nationwide.
Year 13 has 50 million data points on youth intentions, preferences, passions, and perceptions gleaned from surveys of over 50,0000 in the last six years. The data points to a decreasing sense of wellbeing among high school youth. Year 13 reverses this decline by offering through high school guidance counselors a world-class set of planning tools to help youth take control their career.
