April 18, 2023 -- The Rotary Club of the Capital City welcomed Dr. Zach Bugg, an engineer with Kittelson & Associates leading the redesign of Raleigh's Five Points intersection on Glenwood Avenue. With increasing city traffic, wrecks occur at the intersection more frequently, and with increasing residential density, streetscape and pedestrian safety are worries. Several proposals are under consideration, from a traffic signal overhaul to a double-lane roundabout. Construction is unlikely to begin sooner than 10 years out.
