January 23, 2024 -- The Rotary Club of the Capital City celebrated member John Messner's 90th birthday. John is a founding club member, former club President, and valued friend. Happy 90th John!
Most Tuesdays, the club has a continental breakfast. However, as part of the celebration the club treated itself to a full breakfast enjoyed by all.
And not one bit overshadowed by the celebration was local Girl Scout Ella Caldanaro, who spoke to the club about her journey with her troop over the last few years, and what she has learned along the way. And to add icing on the cake, Ella brought Girl Scout Cookies for purchase. She offered the advice that Thin Mints are best eaten frozen.
