People of Action was truly in action at The Green Chair Project!

A big shout-out to our members who rolled up their sleeves to help clean furniture, kitchen appliances, and assemble lamps, making it possible for more families in our community to step into homes that feel safe, welcoming, and truly theirs.

What The Green Chair Project does is Rotary in action. It is Service Above Self in the most practical and human way, transforming donated items into comfort, dignity, and stability for neighbors who are making a fresh start. Their mission also reflects Rotary’s values, especially service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership, by bringing people together to meet real needs with kindness and purpose.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside The Green Chair Project, and we are excited to continue this collaboration. If you have been looking for a hands-on way to make a difference, this is it. Join us at a future volunteer shift and be part of something that directly changes lives.
